These coilpack adapters allow you to install 2.0 TFSI coilpacks in 1.8T 20v engine. The OEM 2.0T Coils are approx. 14mm taller than the 1.8T units, then in order to have a seal that allows some form of security with the valve cover, the coilpack requires an adapter plate !
